We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Lead, to drive the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning across our global enterprise.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive a future-fit, sustainable workforce, that delivers our strategy, and enables our people to pursue their potential.

About the role


This is a new and exciting role within our People & Culture Team, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and by integrating and prioritising external and internal insights.

Reporting to the Head of People Capabilities, your key responsibilities will be to:


  • Collaborate with Executive and broader business stakeholders to identify business needs and codesign strategic workforce plans that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement an evidencebased workforce planning methodology and framework that enables effective and robust workforce planning across our organisation.
  • Evaluate internal and external workforce trends and data to identify opportunities and risks and make proactive recommendations to key stakeholders. Conduct scenario planning and analysis to assess the potential impact of changing business requirements on workforce needs.
  • Lead the endtoend design and implementation of strategic workforce planning engagement, including roles and responsibilities, facilitation of stakeholder meetings, data analysis and the creation of compelling stories to communicate findings and guide evidencebased decisionmaking.
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders in developing and executing workforce plans that are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Create the evaluation framework for measuring the effectiveness of strategic workforce planning practices and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

About you


Experienced in the design and implantation of enterprise-wide strategic workforce planning capabilities across geographies and / or industries with the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, commercial acumen and awareness of the trends impacting capability needs, within a complex, global, matrixed organisation.


A strong collaborator and stakeholder manager, who works proactively with a breadth of colleagues to deliver impactful products and initiatives.

The ability to demonstrate strong relationship building, communication and presentation skills to facilitate project progress.

You will also be comfortable and confident in managing the ambiguity and complexity associated with the development of a new enterprise-wide capability.


A champion of evidence-based practice and understand the value of data and insights in driving robust, organisational decision-making as well as being connected with the thought leadership across strategic workforce planning and future capabilities.
