International Financial Services business are in the market for a newly Qualified or Nearly Qualified Accountant to join their close knit team.

You will have a willingness to embrace the challenges of working in a fast-moving environment.

The role can offer a hybrid working model with some home working as well as a flexible benefits package and excellent training.


Duties:


  • Prepare half year and annual financial statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and liaise with Auditors.
  • Maintain the accounting records for a number of large clients (assets in the £ 100's of millions), and liaise with the Investment Managers with respect to the funds' activities.
  • Review of Monthly/Quarterly accounting reports in accordance with agreed timetables.
  • Produce Board packs and attend Board meetings.
  • Review of Net Asset Valuation reports and supporting calculations.
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff and oversee their work.

Person Specification:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Newly or nearly qualified.
  • Prior experience in an accounting position within a large, ideally global, business.
