Kinaxia Logistics are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their team based out of Trafford Park.

The Finance Business Partner will have responsibility for the preparation and production of the business management accounts within the Distribution sector.

The Finance Business Partner will support the strategic direction and development of the business by ensuring management make well informed decisions which support the progression of group goals and the future stability and growth of the Group.

About the job:


  • Financial Business Partner to the Managing Director Distribution for the North West business units. Provide advice and analysis on operational efficiencies, potential projects and new contracts to ensure they are cost effective and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Managing Directors and senior management team to ensure the business is developing to its full potential.
  • Lead, support and develop commercial reporting at customer level including revenue and profitability analysis for new and existing customer opportunities and reviews.
  • Develop, prepare and produce management accounts, forecasts and weekly reports for each area of the business, which are accurate and fit for purpose including development of KPIs for regular reporting.
  • Lead, develop and motivate direct reports to ensure they reach their full potential and subsequently contribute to the overall performance of the business and deliver a world class service.
  • In conjunction with central finance continually review, and implement improved financial control procedures, systems and processes to ensure an effective and efficient service is being delivered supporting statutory audit and legislative compliance.
  • Provide timely and accurate information / reports to enable the Senior Management Team and departments to make informed strategic and operational decisions, highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Be main point of contact in the annual statutory audit to certify that all processes, procedures and legislative requirements are being adhered to.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to meet each business's and group financial and strategic targets;
  • Lead on the completion of all yearend procedures in accordance with legislative requirements and group processes.
  • Support cash management and credit control to enhance forecast accuracy and effective working capital management

Your knowledge and experience:


  • Qualified accountant
  • Transport preferable
  • Both working and technical knowledge of accountancy
  • Preferably Experience Sage 200
  • Preparing and producing management accounts
  • Supporting a management team with financial advice and strategic planning
  • Preparing and complying for statutory audits
  • Supporting the formulation of budgets and forecasts
  • Preparation and analysis of key KPI's
