38 hours per week.

Overtime always available.

Due to a continuous increase in workload a position is available for an experienced skilful full time sheet metal worker foreman who preferably specialises with stainless steel.

Primary objectives:
As well has being able to conduct sheet metal work yourself you will be expected to supervise a small team of fabricators and semi skilled workers to ensure assigned work conforms to quality, time quoted and productivity:

Ensure all works are carry out safely.
Coordinate and allocate work to fabricators in accordance with their skills.
Monitor the use of materials and care of equipment and plant to minimise waste and damage.
Provide leadership and direction to assigned labour.
Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time.
Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time.
Assist in the management of an harmonious environment, team building and training of apprentices and other employees as required.
Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Estimate hours remaining to be completed on jobs.
Assist in estimating potential jobs.
Plan overtime for approval
