A vacancy has arisen in our busy office for a part time finance assistant.The role will include purchase and sales ledger work, credit control, direct debits, customer service dealing with queries and resolving accounts issues.
The role requires contact with a wide variety of customers and suppliers, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Experience of working with accounts and Quickbooks would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic will be expected.Initially the role is expected to be around 15-20 hours a week, over 5 days. There is flexibility on how this will be arranged. There is potential for the hours to increase as the business grows.
The role is office based.
Due to the location of the office, own transport is essential.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Recording and allocating payments.
- Managing direct debit records through Go Cardless.
- Raising invoices to customers.
- Credit control.
- Inputting supplier invoices.
- Processing business fuel card and expense card receipts.
- Assisting the Finance Manger as required.
- Other ad hoc jobs as required by other teams.
Experience - administration minimum 2 years preferred
Education - A level or equivalent.
