Description

stem4's digital portfolio of products to support young people's mental health includes five award-winning apps, an online mental health education programme and trusted clinically-informed website.

The Digital Coordinator role is key in supporting stem4's growing digital presence.

This is an entry level position (with a salary to reflect this) and would suit a recent graduate with an interest in working in the digital health field.

The role is varied, as you might expect in a small but growing charity and is fantastic for career development, enabling you to gain a wide range of skills in an exciting, rapidly-evolving sector.

Reporting directly to the Digital Lead, your role will include:

  • Monitoring app reviews, supporting app users with queries, maintaining issue and hazard logs
  • Working with the digital team and stem4's tech partner to support the creation of new apps involvement in all stages from the initial concept and scoping through to testing the app, ensuring it's clinically safe and supporting its release. Liaising with our tech partner.
  • Supporting the Digital Lead with app maintenance releases
  • Day to day updates of the stem4 website and app websites liaising with our web developers and members of the team to support projects and campaigns
  • Supporting our digital education programme, Head Ed
  • Supporting the Digital Insights Analyst on reporting on app and/or website analytics where necessary
  • Working with the Digital Lead on charity digital projects for example accessibility, meeting accreditations, website improvements
  • Providing digital support to the stem4 team
  • Working with our digital marketing agency to help drive traffic to our websites through SEO, paid social media and paid ads
  • Focussing on the continued improvement of stem4's digital offerings
  • Contributing ideas on how stem4 can use technology to help support teenage mental health
  • Encouraging a digital mindset within the charity, advising and sharing information on digital technologies, trends and competitor products

  • Keen interest in digital technologies and trends

  • Team player; proven experience of working in a small team environment
  • Analytical skills

Preferable but not essential:_

  • Knowledge and understanding of the software development process and software testing (we are not expecting developer/coding skills)
  • Knowledge of WordPress/website development
  • Experience of technical support
  • Experience of agile development

stem4, 51 St George's Road, Wimbledon SW19 4EA (part office-based, minimum 2 days per week/part working from home)

stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention.


This is primarily provided digitally through our innovative education programme, pioneering mental health apps, clinically-informed website and mental health conferences that contribute to helping young people and those around them flourish.
