Home based with some travel to our Sheffield or Leeds office


The role will support the Governance Officers, Governance Leads and the Head of Governance with all governance and administrative activities to deliver the Governance Framework that underpins all client delivery and departmental governance processes within Capita Pension Solutions' Data Solutions business unit.

The main goals of the governance team are to:

  • Assist teams to improve consistency & predictability within their business areas, enabling them to offer dependable delivery in a client-centric operating model
  • Create transparency and improved insight into our operations so we are agile, enabling faster responses to growth opportunities
  • Encourage automation and integration in both our management information to maximise control and understanding of our revenue pipeline & resource capacity and in our processes, to increase operational efficiency
  • Support colleagues in meeting revenue targets by centralising supporting processes that create more capacity in the operational teams to deliver revenue.

What will you be doing:


  • Support the Data Solutions operational teams to deliver in line with the Governance Framework
  • Provide administration support and maintenance of the Governance Sharepoint site, including uploading documents and site housekeeping
  • Provide administration support with the KeyedIn technology platform including (but not limited to) creating / suspending users, creating new and running reports, monitoring time recording and supporting with basic system configuration
  • Provide administration support with Salesforce & Revenue Schedule including (but not limited to) entering and maintaining data and running reports
  • Provide administration support to the Governance Team and all governance processes and tasks as requested within the key areas of commercial governance, delivery governance & risk and controls governance, including arranging meetings, taking minutes, updating action logs, following up on actions, updating plans, creating standard documents, and running reports.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in an administration role supporting a team


  • Analytical skills

  • Able to analyse basic data in MS Excel and maintain trackers and logs
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Communication skills
  • Presentation / meeting skills
  • Able to participate in meetings, present information and take minutes and actions

Desirable

  • Awareness or basic understanding of regulations and policies including GDPR, FCA and ISO
  • Previous experience supporting a governance team
  • Understanding of the UK pensions' industry
