WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


The role holder will be a highly valued member of the Management Accounting team reporting to the Finance Business Partner but supporting the wider team across several financial and management accounting processes.

The duties of the role will be appropriately aligned to the individual's experience and skills gained throughout their training period.

This role will be full time and it should be expected that additional hours will be required from time to time, particularly around month's end when specific deadlines are in place.


The Role

  • To gain a broad understanding of the Finance function and the stakeholders supported
  • Support the team in completing the monthend financial accounting processes, such as:
  • Input/upload journals against a given set of rules.
  • Roll over monthly balance sheet reconciliation files.
  • Reconcile capital expenditure and depreciation and post monthly charges to the nominal ledger.
  • Run entity Sales and Purchase ledger reports for monthend reconciliation to the nominal ledger.
  • Defer show costs and income as required and prepay other showspecific costs.
  • Payroll analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with the standard monthly management accounting processes for the team:
  • Ensure manpower costs are accurately updated for each show forecast.
  • Populate show forecast 'trackers' with actual costs and income and reconcile these to the

  • Excellent communication with the ability to gain the trust, confidence and respect of colleagues.
  • To have an eye for the detail and ability to sense and check data and information.
  • Ability to prioritise, think on your feet and deliver in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to recognise challenges or opportunities with the confidence to communicate and challenge the wider business.
  • Solutionorientated with a proactive "can do" attitude, instilling a sense of pace and urgency into the organisation, and willing to delve into the detail.
  • May require some travel to London.
  • Be organised and deliver to required and challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise whilst at the same time managing stakeholder

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preferably graduate or good Alevel student, wishing to complete professional studies (study support will be provided)
  • Strong academic track record
