This is an exciting opportunity to work for a specialist motorsport and vehicle builder as part of an enthusiastic team as an Electrical Technician on a contract (Inside IR35).
Using your high levels of experience and skill you will be building wiring harnesses and sensor assemblies from engineering drawings whilst providing suggestions of new technologies and methods to improve and develop the company's products.

As an Electrical Technician you will be required to:
To produce wiring harness assemblies and sensors to specified drawings
To work closely with other department members on specified projects
To highlight any issues in production with the department supervisor
To be fully aware of, and comply with, Health and Safety rules and regulations
To provide efficient and professional services to internal and external customers
To deliver electronic services that reflect the company's professional and expert capabilities and character
To resolve both internal and external problems in a fair and ethical manner whilst protecting the best interests of the company at all times
To minimize wastage by resourcing only the required materials
To monitor expenditure and remain within agreed limits
To minimize the costs of project delivery both internal and external, ensuring the biggest financial gain without compromising company objectives
To recommend new and appropriate technology to enhance the Electronic department team's capabilities
To operate in line with the company's values, ensuring effective two-way communication with team members
As an Electrical Technician you will have the following experience / qualifications: 3 Years experience in harness building using the Raychem System 25 fully jacketed, moulded transitions, service loops and Deutsch Auto sport connectors
HNC in Electronics Engineering
Building Complex 1500 point, full automotive chassis sized Wiring Harnesses to an engineering drawing
Fault finding of Wiring Harnesses
Fault finding on car electrical issues
Testing of Wiring Harnesses
Ability to use basic Microsoft Office software
Ability to read Wiring Diagrams and Harness build sheets
Accurate, efficient and methodical work practices
Ability to work in a small team, and also be self-sufficient once instructed
