Safety Apprentice Placement


Malone Group is an established engineering and safety services company specialising in delivering complex projects for companies in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and utilities sectors.


Reports to:
Regional Safety Manager


Key relationships:
Safety Advisors, Managing Director, Regional Safety Manager


Responsibilities

Their responsibilities will include:

  • Turning up to work on time and being professionally presented when representing Malone Group
  • Comply with Malone Group systems in terms of holiday booking, timesheets, project reporting and expenses
  • Supporting the reginal safety managers and health and safety team in administrative tasks
  • Shadowing and assisting the Safety Advisors on customers sites developing their health and safety knowledge
  • Learning/improving their health and safety knowledge by completing their level 3 Health and Safety apprenticeship scheme
  • Developing a good understanding of health and safety management systems to manage risk and ensure compliance
  • Gain the knowledge and experience to assist with H&S Inductions for all new staff and ensuring it is properly documented and recorded
  • Take direction from more experienced safety team members
  • Taking responsibility for your learning through questioning our Safety team members
  • Presenting in front of peers to develop this skill
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Skills/Experience Required


He/she will have good MS office skills, be IT literate with experience of software packages such as Word and Excel.
