Job Summary:

As a
Bid Writer, you will be part of our dynamic Quotes & Tenders Team, this is a brand-new role you can really make your own to take responsibility for co-ordinating Subject Matter Expert (SME) responses from across the wider business in order to write and complete tender proposals within the laboratory supplies sector, specific responses for pre-qualification and tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing and understanding client prequalification and tender documentation. Interpreting questions and constructing response templates supporting SME's. Drafting and writing PQQ and/or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive language. Review and evaluate all tender enquiries/responses for completeness and accuracy. Proofreading final documents prior to submission. Maintaining and refining library of existing content. Maintaining an awareness of procurement legislation development. Management and refinement of preexisting library of past tender responses. Attending conferences on advancement of public and nonpublic procurement legislation. Anticipating future direction of procurement policy and proactively preparing future content to support forecasted changes.
Recent graduate (BA/MA) in English, History, Creative Writing or similar. Passion for writing. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English. Confident in their ability to work in a team and autonomously. Excellent organisational skills/being able to work to tight deadlines. Ability to keep calm under pressure. Takes pride in their role and contribution.

Nice to have:

Previous bid writer experience preferred, but not essential.
