Description

We are seeking to appoint 3 full-time Consultants in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery posts that have become available in the Integrated Breast Service at Chichester and Worthing with cross site working, as part of the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking commitment to high quality patient care and help with delivery of performance targets.

This presents an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of this Service, with innovative pathway redesigns or service models, engaging in a new monthly oncoplastic MDT, building further links with our Plastic Surgical colleagues at QVH, participating in the development of a portfolio of mutli-disciplinary and surgical research, participating in undergraduate and postgraduate training, as well that of allied health care professionals

The Integrated Breast Service sits within the newly formed Cancer Division of the Trust.

This busy breast service provides breast screening to a population of over 135,000 women and receiving over 7,500 GP referrals and treating over 900 new breast cancers annually.

Symptomatic patients are seen in one stop clinics where triple assessment is carried out.
