Production Operative


Term:
Permanent vacancy


Pay:
£22000 per annum


Location:
Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon


Shift:
Working rotating shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm shift pattern

Our client is looking for a Production manager to participate in their warehouse operations and activities. The goal is to increase efficiency and give client satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be professional at all times when dealing with colleagues and clients and will proactively represent the company on site promoting excellent customer service at all times.
  • Running production equipment to throughput requirements as requested by the Shift Manager or his deputy. This will include but not limited to print, enclosing, hand fulfilment and mail consolidator.
  • Job Reconciliation and accuracy.
  • Quality of work produced achieve quality targets and be within or better SLA.
  • Cleanliness and tidiness of your work area.
  • Assisting with training other operators as required.
  • Redeployment to other business areas to assist in duties.
  • Cross training in other functions and departments may be necessary.
  • Any other duties as required by the Supervisor / Site Management Team.

Requirements:


  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of production operation or similar industry.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Working accurately, under pressure to tight deadlines

Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Swindon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
