We're working with an award winning travel agency who, due to a sharp increase in demand, are in need of a Part Time Travel Administrator who can work closely with the Finance team to provide general day to day support including analysing errors on bookings, processing customer receipts and refunds, overseeing balance reports and a variety of financial and administrative duties.

This will be 3 days per week, or the equivalent hours worked over 4 to 5 days if preferred. Hybrid working is also offered, with a 2/3 split or equivalent.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyse errors on bookings and rectify as required through daily reports and communicating with other departments.
  • Oversee balance reports showing upcoming and outstanding payments and take appropriate action.
  • To be responsible for the processing of customer refunds.
  • Take ownership of workload, ensuring that suppliers are chased until refunds are received.
  • Gain a full and comprehensive understanding of the internal Dolphin and Vibe systems.
  • To work with other team members to ensure deadlines/targets and other constraints are observed.
  • To update the travel account systems with changes in foreign currencies.
  • To upload customer receipts to bookings through the main travel accounts system.
  • To have a clear understanding of all departments and assist as and when required.

  • Knowledge of foreign currencies.
  • Good understanding of the receipts and refunds process.
  • A well rounded knowledge of the travel industry and best travel administration practice is preferred but not essential.
