Description
We are looking for 1 Monitoring Operative who will join our team working on an evening. We have 1 shift available which will cover

  • Friday 17:00 21:30


The Monitoring Operative will provide a visible and hands-on role to the RMS Monitoring function in delivering service to all RMS customers.

The role is responsible for ensuring the department maintains working methods within the Gold standard accreditation guidelines.

The role will be required to ensure compliance with business processes and customer requirements.

The Centre handles CCTV and intruder monitoring, along with a range of complimentary services including remote concierge and customer telephony services eg.

absence reporting, as well as daily, weekly and monthly administrative roles to ensure its functionality.


Role Responsibilities

  • Taking full responsibility for individual performance and development & communications
  • Respond to alarms received from customer's sites and process in accordance with practices and procedures as trained
  • Answer telephone calls from internal and external customers in a professional manner and delivering on the requests
  • Log service calls on the inhouse programme for assigning to engineers
  • Complete the shift handover providing clear and detailed information relevant to other shifts
  • Complete daily and weekly checks in line with the company procedure ensuring that areas of noncompliance are raised
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the site wide emergency strategy and business recovery plans
  • Deliver training with all staff concerning general operational duties and emergency procedures
  • Update Sentinel with updated site information, including but not limited to, schedules, key holders, and connection information
  • Identify areas for improvement in service delivery that deliver on the department ethos of simplification

  • Excellent communication and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Existing holder of a valid SIA Supervisor License (is desirable)
