Description

An opportunity has arisen for a 12-month secondment or fixed term contract to join the Trust's audit team, working 34.5 hours per week, preferably over 5 days, to cover maternity leave.

You should have a customer/patient focused approach and be self-motivated.

You will work independently and as part of a team and have an organised approach to data collection and processing.

As a Trust Performance Monitoring Officer, you will carry out a range of audits of Facilities Management Services to include cleaning and waste services, liaising with ward and departmental managers, as well as Summit and Mitie.

In this role you will;

  • Work to a scheduled audit programme, whilst managing your own workload.
  • Enter cleaning audit outcome data onto a specialist software package in order to provide reported scores and notify relevant teams.
  • Carry out post audit checks on areas audited and follow through on agreed actions within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure audit documentation and information is kept uptodate, including spreadsheets.

It should be noted that this is a physically demanding job, carrying out audits throughout all areas of the hospital.

Knowledge of working in a Healthcare and/or Facilities and Estates environment would be advantageous. Previous auditing experience would be advantageous but not essential.

You should be IT literate with familiar use of Microsoft packages and be able to demonstrate your customer service skills.

You will be given training and the support needed.
