Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the driver in the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Load and unload merchandise from the delivery vehicle, including heavy furniture items.
  • Follow delivery routes and ensure all items are accounted for
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with navigation and provide directions to the driver as needed
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the delivery vehicle
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Skills:


  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labour throughout the day
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Please note that this position requires working closely with a driver, so reliability, punctuality, and teamwork are essential.

Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
