Thompson & Morgan is known as the expert in flower and vegetable seed market, but over the last few years we've grown to also include plants, bulbs, fruit, garden furniture - in fact everything you could want to create a stunning garden for your home.

We generate over 2 million orders per year marketing our products via our website, catalogues, press, Amazon, EBay and home shopping TV channels as well as have a very strong garden centre presence.

We're looking for a
Drystore Operative to join our busy team in Ipswich.

The role is varied and requires someone who has a positive attitude and is capable of multitasking in a busy warehouse environment.

With changing priorities that demand a shift of focus at short notice, you'll never be bored or without something to do.

Examples of required tasks:

Receipt of deliveries ensuring the PO and delivery note match and are booked on to the system accurately with all the relevant tests being completed.
Collate monthly germ samples from list provided to send to the lab for testing.
Carry out regular stock takes to help maintain accurate stock levels.
Print and collate shop orders for packet production recording these requests onto two spreadsheets to keep track of the seed. Weighing back used seed and recording results. Scan to stock management to update system.
Creating new seed mixes from shop order recipes.
Liaise with other departments to resolve any queries.
Able to work quickly and accurately, with good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to function as part of a team in addition to working without close supervision
Capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment
Enthusiastic with a positive attitude even when it's busy
