Responsibilities:
To lead a team of qualified childcare practitioners in our preschool room providing a caring, stimulating environment for children to play and learn following the EYFS curriculum guidance.
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the preschool.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
- Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, wellmaintained, and safe at all times
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Creativity to engage children in learning activities
- Strong organizational skills to plan learning opportunities effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
