February 2023**GSL Education are actively looking for an enthusiastic dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher for a school in the York area.

This role will implement and deliver an appropriate broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for all pupils as well as facilitate,support and monitor the overall progress and development of the children.

The post holder will also foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential.

To be successful in the role, you must:

At least 6 months experience in Teaching KS1 years (placements can be counted).
To plan and devise engaging and interactive lessons or follow a plan when required.
Being familiar with Jolly Phonics and Read, Write Inc will be advantageous.
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. (Early career teachers encouraged to apply)
The ability to direct a team of Support Assistants and work as part of a wider team across school when required.
Have the right to work in the UK.
