29Feb2024An exciting opportunity is available for a Technical Support Advisor to join a wellknown company who are manufacturing safety critical devices supplying innovative products to a variety of sectors. Based in Coventry you will be an integral member of the team supporting the company within the technical support department. On offer is a salary of £40,000 £45,000 per annum, bonus opportunities and your birthday off work as an extra days holiday

As the Technical Support Advisor you will be responsible for offering assistance and guidance to customers in need of technical assistance or troubleshooting along with the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain documents and user manuals, to assist customers in understanding product features, and best working practices
Serve as a 2 nd tier contact for customers seeking support
Respond to customer queries and troubleshoot issues on safety systems and wireless connectivity
Create and maintain documentation to record problem descriptions, actions and resolutions
Liaise with the wider team to ensure proper escalation of any issues that need further investigations
Monitor customer satisfaction levels, collect feedback and identify areas of improvement within the technical support process
Remain up to date with product knowledge, industry trends and emerging technologies

As the Technical Support Advisor you will have previous experience in a similar role offering advice to a customer base preferably within wireless technology or alarm systems.

Requirements

Experience in a similar technical role
Customer focused mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service
Understanding of wireless technology
Familiarity with regulations within fire safety, or knowledge of fire detection or alarm systems
