Description
Flair Group are currently looking for a Finance Assistant for a privately owned, building maintenance and facilities management support services company in the UK, delivering high levels of service to key blue-chip clients such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Morrisons.
Responsible for providing support to the Invoicing Team with day to day activities to a competent standard and ensuring the Company's financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however out client may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
- Receive, check, and process Purchase Invoices linked to Purchase Orders; ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised before being processed;
- Batching high volumes of invoices and posting them into SAGE200; manage and resolve external supplier queries / monthly reconciliation of supplier statements;
- Maintaining an accurate purchase ledger in line with company approval levels;
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details;
- Processing credit card purchases for the teams, keeping digital receipts, and manage company credit card reconciliation
- Filing invoices and statements;
- Assistance in other areas of our Administration Department as and when required;
- Responsible for ensuring all tasks are undertaken in a timely manner; Comply at all times with the Company's Policies and Procedures; Stepup and cover for the Senior Finance Assistant when they are on leave; Execute the responsibilities of the job role according to lawful and ethical standards.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Excellence attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a high volume, transaction driven environment; Knowledge of SAGE200;
- Proficient in the use of IT platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel;
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills;
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
