Support the organisation strategy and roadmap for new product development and assist with product graphics and Marketing data where required.

NPD
Support the design implementation for New Product Development and improvements to existing product range.

Aid research into new materials and processes
Utilising specific software to create 3D models of the product
Organising previous engineering records and properly reporting and preparing new ones
Working as part of a team to produce work instructions of manufacturing along with, data sheets and assembly instructions for best installation methods
Attending design meetings involving different departments
Effectively test prototypes, analyse data and report findings from testing.
Working within the team to modifying designs until the best version is reached to achieve market positioning, price and quality
Source components required for NPD and create initial bill of materials
Track & monitor NPDs ensuring milestones are achieved
Work with sales and marketing departments to initiate product launch dates and analyse success of NPDs after launch
Create and maintain master data for new and existing products
Working to KPI's to reduce product costs and improve utilization of time and material use.
