Order Picker / LLOP Voice Picker

Grangemouth, FK3

£11.44 per hour day shift rate

£12.82 per hour back shift rate

OT £17.77 per hour and Bank Holidays £25.64 per hour

6am - 2pm 5 days out of 7 days - must be available to work weekends

TM Scotland Grangemouth & Falkirk Industrial are very excited to be recruiting on behalf of our established client in Grangemouth that is very well known food distribution business.

Our client is offering immediate starts from for experienced Order Pickers to join the team working 5 days out of 7 on the day shift 6am - 2pm.

You must be available to work weekends as your rota will always include 5 working days out of - Your two days off may not be together so you must be able to work any day from Mon to Sun.

Our client is offering in-house training to become a Warehouse Operative with the view of becoming a LLOP Driver with a Voice Picker - The training will offer a 1 week settling in process that will cover a full induction for working onsite.

This will include company standards, health and safety procedures whilst working onsite and drug and alcohol awareness whilst working onsite.

Main duties of the role include:

Driving a LLOP truck and using a voice picker system to pick orders to be packaged up and distributed to stores
Wrapping pallets
Following health and safety practices
Picking and packing orders by line within the warehouse
General warehouse duties

What do you need to be considered for the Warehouse Operative position?

Warehouse Operator / Picker / LLOP experience would be desired
An employment reference within the last three years
Good physical strength due to the manual lifting aspect of the job
LLOP or voice picking background would be extremely beneficial
A high level of care and pride whilst at work, ability to work well alone and as a team, as well as excellent communication skills.
Strong timemanagement skills (be punctual, meet deadlines, readjust priorities when unforeseen issues arise).
