Logistics plays an important role in supporting manufacturing, enabling support functions and Thales' service delivery.


Thales UK is looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and professional to assist with co-ordinating all logístical resources in a timely and efficient manner in support of its Belfast product delivery ensuring compliance with all security and legislative constraints.


Primary Purpose of the Role:


Key Responsibilities and Tasks:


  • Ensure the 4PL solution is executing business priorities.
  • Be the point of escalation to and drive collaborative improvement with the 4PL provider.
  • Manage process compliance and improvements within the logistics delivery cycle.
  • Support Stock Reconciliation activities with the 4PL provider.
  • Support the efforts in controlling and managing Customer Assets.
  • Develop and provide information and management reports as required.
  • Support the Logistics Manager as and when required in the execution of their duties.

About You:

Essential

  • Knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory practices.
  • Experience in management and use of large ERP Systems (ideally Oracle).
  • Able to prioritise tasks and understand when to escalate issues.
  • Manage complex priorities, able to deliver key goals and objectives.
  • Effective communicator and confident in dealing with all levels of management.
  • Eligible to obtain SC security clearance.
  • Ability to work alone or within a team environment.

Desirable:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of the Oracle ERP system, particularly the Manufacturing and/or Inventory Management areas of the system.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, problem solving and change management in an Industrial environment.
  • Awareness of ITAR/EAR Trade Compliance.
