    Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
    Kier Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Transportation Rail business in the Greater Manchester region.
    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial team on various rail-related projects, utilizing their expertise to ensure maximum sustainable value is secured from contracts and managing subcontractors effectively.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Supporting commercial teams in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts and managing subcontractors firmly and fairly.
    • Compiling monthly applications for payment to clients and tracking certification.
    • Preparing monthly regional CV and forecast reports.
    • Compiling and submitting financial effects of variations.
    • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
    Requirements:
    • Relevant qualifications (Degree in Quantity Surveying)
    • Experience within the rail, construction, or civils industry.
