Elmtree Fabrications is looking for a
Full-Time Plater/Fabricator to join our team. Experience in Workshop/Site Work is essential

£14.50 per Hour - 39hrs Monday to Friday

Occasional Overtime Saturdays at Time and Half


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experienced in reading Technical Drawings
• Be able to use BandSaw/ Presses and Guillotine
• Be experienced in Mig/Tig/MMA Welding.
• Experience in working with Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium
• Operate machinery in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that work sites are clean and orderly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and machinery.
• Ensure that all work areas are kept in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• All completed work to quality assurance levels
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Skills:

• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, drawings, procedures, or orders.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as hand tools, saws, drills, etc.
• Able to perform physical labour such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending over head rotating etc. at a rapid pace for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  Must be able to pass preemployment drug screen.

Salary:
£14.50 per hour

Experience:

• MIG welding: 5 years (required)
