Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Management Accountant for a global Entertainment business in Central London paying £45-55k+study support with hybrid working.

Duties include:

Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to Head Office on the P&L and Balance Sheet for all UK entities.

Commentary on key variances and KPIs, interaction with operational Department Heads as required.

Calculating and preparing month end journals, including sales and sales accruals

Reconciliation of various Balance Sheet accounts

Monthly or quarterly reforecasting of sales and P&Ls and uploading to the Group Planning tool. Assistance with the annual budgeting and business planning process, including liaising with Departments Heads.

Preparation of Cashflow Statements and monthly reforecasts

Preparation and maintenance of the sales database used in the financial accounting, forecasting and budgeting processes. Analysis of the sales data and preparation of ad hoc sales reports.

Supporting the UK statutory audit, assistance with preparation of Statutory Accounts, collection of data for the auditors and liaison with the auditors

Applicants must have:

Strong academic background
Experience of preparing budgets and forecasts
Entertainment or Media industry experience (preferred but not required)
Advanced Excel skills up to but not including Macros
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with both finance and nonfinance individuals
Good understanding of a strong control environment
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Good commercial acumen and ability to understand different businesses models and concepts
Experience in cashflow and forecasting
Knowledge of FRS 102
