Description

To manage the administration of the gymnastics programme with support from the gymnastics coordinators, senior administrator, and the club manager.


  • To manage the financial accounts for the recreational gymnastics programme with support from the senior administrator and the club manager.
  • To manage and maintain the club data held by the club on its internal systems.
  • To manage the gymnastics award scheme data and update records as necessary.
  • To manage the membership management system (Parentmail) including class schedules, allocation of places for new and current members, competition fees, invoicing, payments and any other tasks as required.
  • To organise the recreational registers and waiting lists and maintain full capacity classes for the recreational gymnastics programme.
  • To take cash and card payments in person, and by phone.
  • To keep stock lists of merchandise and reorder as required.
  • Deliver frontline services to members of the club through the wide variety of gymnastics classes and the public.
  • Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required.

  • Be committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children and young people
  • Comply with the policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, equal opportunities, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
  • Take appropriate action to identify, evaluate and minimise any risks to health, safety and security in the club working environment.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the club.
  • Establish constructive relationships and communication with all staff and other agencies/professionals.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
These duties and responsibilities are a broad picture of the post at the date of preparation.

Consequently, this is not a contractual document, and the post holder will be required to carry out any other duties to the equivalent level that are necessary to fulfil the requirements of the post.

The position is 24 hours per week, Monday to Saturday: (term-time only)

Monday 2pm - 8pm (6 hours)

Tuesday 2pm - 7pm (5 hours)

Thursday 2pm - 8pm (6 hours)

Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm (7 hours)

They will have excellent communication skills and have a good understanding of administration with relevant computer programmes.

A DBS check will be undertaken.

Responsible to the Club Manager.

Salary £25, Full Time Equivalent)

Actual Salary (Pro Rata) £13,094.12 for 24 hours per week for 39 weeks per year.
