Bodyshop Controller Vacancy - Crowland, Lincolnshire

• Bodyshop Controller Required in Crowland, Lincolnshire
• Up To £35,000 Basic Salary + performance related bonus (circa £10,000)
• Monday To Friday, 08.00am 5.30pm
• Brand New Facilities

We are a newly opened facility in the Crowland area that supports our established car supermarket.

We are now looking for an experienced Bodyshop Controller with a previous background as an Estimator to join our team and manage the day to day operations of our busy bodyshop.

As our Bodyshop Controller, alongside your day to day running of the body shop you will be responsible for assisting with assessing the level and extent of damage to vehicles coming from auction and following accident damage.

You will work alongside the Preparation Manager to determine the level of work needed for the vehicles to be brought up to the business standard ready for retail.

Duties for this Bodyshop Controller role will commonly include:

• Assessing the extent of damage to the structural, body, mechanical, electrical and interior components of the vehicle
• Directing team members and running day to day operations
• Estimating parts and labour costs to repair damage
• Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair costs and recommendations
• Negotiating contracts with material suppliers
• Monitoring efficiency of work and processes to ensure quality repairs
• Supporting team members when required
• Maintaining equipment used in the bodyshop and ensuring regular services and maintenance checks are monitored

The Bodyshop Controller will need to be able to demonstrate:

• Experience with Audatex and EMACS
• Commercially astute
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• Problem solving skills
• Additional revenue streams

You may have gained experience previously as a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Manager, Estimator, Vehicle Damage Assessor or similar.
