Leadership Pay Scale 3-10 dependent on experience


Are you a value-driven, passionate and committed leader? If you can lead a team by example and put our students first then you are the person we are looking for Isebrook School is a Secondary special school for over 250 awesome students.


As such, this position requires someone who has high aspirations for all our students; is able to support students to be available to learn; ensure relationships amongst staff and students are positive, and so preparing our students for their next stages in life outside of school and therefore meeting high expectations for student outcomes.


Previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be essential; excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are also just as important.

Are you a passionate leader who can demonstrate;

  • Team Leadership: Providing clear direction, support, and motivation to the team, ensuring that everyone is working towards common goals and objectives. This involves fostering a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
  • Professional Development: Identifying areas for growth and providing opportunities for ongoing training and development for both teachers and teaching assistants. This includes staying updated on best practices in special education and sharing that knowledge with the team.
  • Student Support: Ensuring that the needs of each student are met through personalised learning plans, effective interventions, and a supportive classroom environment. This may involve collaborating with other professionals to address individual student needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to support student success. This involves effective communication, active listening, and a willingness to collaborate and problemsolve together.
