About the Role
3 hours per week
St John Ambulance and the NHS are working in partnership to prepare young people to become health volunteers.
As Regional Programme Lead, you will manage and support our Project Leads and their delivery teams within the wider St John Ambulance NHS Cadet programme across a broad geographical area.
You will work with our partner NHS Trusts to explore new ways of working with young people in a volunteering setting and look to how local organisations can support this venture.
You will be an essential part of our management structure, leading a cohort of NHS Cadet programmes and ensuring the health volunteering options for young people are consistently delivered.
This role will be responsible for the recruitment of programme delivery teams in their region in what will be a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
As part of an NHS Cadet Youth Team, you'll help create a safe, inclusive and open environment where young people can learn important life skills to prepare them for health volunteering.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a similar line management position and a passion for working with young people.
You will ideally have experience of bringing together partnerships across voluntary and statutory youth provision aimed at increasing opportunities for young people from marginalised communities.
You will have experience in recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers. Regional travel will be essential.About Us
