About us
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate NURSERY Practitioner to join our team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to the children in our nursery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe each child to identify physical, emotional, or social problems and to provide additional advice or assistance
- Observe the children's behavior to provide appropriate care or advice and to stop inappropriate behavior
- Complete daily reports and maintain records of children's development and progress
- Maintain a healthy balance between the needs of the children and parents
- Communicate with parents regularly about their child's development and progress
- Maintain a professional relationship with parents
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors
- Develop skills in various aspects of child development i.e., identifying health problems, understanding nutrition, identifying disease processes, etc.
- Educate parents on how to raise a healthy baby and maintain a good relationship with them while providing high quality care for their children
- Follow all health and safety standards as well as company policies
Skills:
- Proven experience as nursery practitioner or similar position preferred but not required.
Nursery practitioner must be comfortable working with infants & toddlers. Nursery Practitioner must have excellent communication skills & patience, as well as strong organizational skills.
Pay:
Up to £10.42 per hour
Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
