Registration Specialist
Either Home based or based at the company regulatory team offices in North Yorkshire
Great opportunity to join a science led company, a leading manufacturer of innovative crop protection products. A highly motivated individual with some knowledge of the regulatory process for plant protection products (PPP) is sought to join a friendlysmall team.
The Registration Specialist will be a key member of the UK/Ireland regulatory team.
Responsibilities will include providing advice, and the preparation, submission and co-ordination of all aspects of active substance, PPP and Biopesticide authorisations.
Working in collaboration with the local country team, together with regional/global regulatory managers, project managers, regional/global regulatory scientists you will be heavily involved in the execution of all regulatory submissions.
Main tasks- Working closely with and supporting colleagues in preparing dossiers in full compliance with EU and GB national requirements and regulations.
- Assisting in preparation and submission of dossiers/documents to the regulatory authorities and participating in the creation of locally needed documents.
- Helping with planning and meeting external deadlines set by Regulation 1107/2009 and GB national regulations including awareness of any changes that occur to regulations and guidance.
- Coordinating responses during the evaluation period between authorities and the regional and global registration team.
- Building relationships with various stakeholders; national authorities and institutes, customers, development and business teams, in order to support FMC and EMEA business and maintain products on the market.
- Contributing to developing strategic decisions for current and future registration projects.
- Providing relevant regulatory information and advice to business.
- Preparing and keeping product material up to date also with respect to stewardship; labels, website and SDS.
- Maintaining database for registrations and submissions in GB/NI and Ireland.
- Minimum degree (Masters or Ph.
- Experience in a regulatory related role in chemical, pharma or plant protection industry (+1 years).
- Basic knowledge of crop protection industry: technical, commercial, farming techniques, crop specific issues, etc. is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and policymakers preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarise data and develop recommendations.
- Proactive and strong problemsolving ability
- Well organised.
- Able to work individually but also as part of a team in a pressured environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
