Key Responsibilities:


  • Respond to client feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Client MeetingsAttend regular minuted meetings with the client in support of the company's aim of consistent quality service delivery
  • Provide relevant information to the team's performance, ongoing issues and future development opportunities
  • Ensure provision of client updates, visiting site locations, engaging with clients, managers and employees. Auditing site for compliance and to ensure delivery of best practice
  • ConfidentialityMaintain confidentiality at all times and establish and maintain a good reputation with the client
  • OpportunitiesIdentify opportunities to expand business on site or with prospective clients
  • Take a proactive approach to increasing the services offered to client
  • Being commercially responsible for each client within the region, to work seamlessly with the nominated QS
  • Mobilising new contract wins in timely fashion in line with support functions to client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that you administer holiday and sickness requests within the given timescales and monitor your teams response times to such requests
  • Liaise closely with the Control Room Duty Management, Controllers and Operations supervisors to ensure that they are aware of the changing requirements of the portfolio
  • To support with high level, escalated employment relations processes including disciplinary meetings, appeal meetings, redundancy processes and consultation processes
  • Monitor absence levels on sites and engage with HR to reduce any ongoing absence issues specifically in relation to long term sickness absence when issues require to be escalated.
  • Work effectively with the Union Representatives on site where appropriate
  • Provide assistance to all staff who have welfare requirements and assist in the vetting process to ensure that all security officers assigned to you comply with BS785
  • Take detailed notes of all disciplinary/capability actions taken against employees making sure that all such matters are first refereed to the Servest HR team
  • In conjunction with the support team, monitor the security officer's performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal development
  • To hold and encourage use of continuous conversations as a form of regularly managing and support direct reports. Encouraging you choose philosophy
  • Identify any training needs for management and feedback with training opportunities including authorising training courses.
  • Ensure completion of required learnings on Servest street for all direct reports
  • Complete appropriate training documentation and keep up to date records
  • Provide leadership and direction for management teams to deliver performance reports and report on these as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and up to date assignment instructions for the portfolio against which all security officers should be assessed, to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood
  • Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of Servest and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients
  • Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and endorse them paying particular attention to check call procedures
  • SubcontractorsClose management of subcontractor accreditation, quality, costs and performance
