Hawk 3 Recruitment are working with a specialist manufacturer based In Cwmbran to recruit an HR Administrator to join their company on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator on a part time basis, who can work with the HR team to support with HR administrative processes in an efficient and accurate way.
This is a role that will work closely with managers and employees so we are hoping for an all-rounder who is happy to be the friendly face of HR on-site and is also adept to giving some basic HR advice to managers and be able to support the HR Director and HR Manager with some key HR projects.
You will be part of a small HR team supporting four different businesses in the UK and US and you'll be a key part of the team, and help bring about positive changes across the business in line with our focus on being a Great Place to WorkResponsibilities
- Responsible for daily maintenance of the company HRIS
- Creating and updating files/spreadsheets for employees ensuring information is up to date
- Support recruitment activities including in house recruitment, liaising with recruitment agencies as necessary, arranging interviews and carrying out preemployment checks.
- Support with the data and implementation of employee information in the transfer to a new HR system.
- Creating accurate records for new starters, in putting them on to systems, sending and chasing relevant paperwork.
- Help to ensure the leaver process is completed correctly; generate leaver letters, calculate accrued annual leave, coordinate exit interviews, liaise with finance and IT as necessary.
- Monitor absence daily/weekly.
- Support benefits administration as required.
- Answer queries from employees as appropriate.
- Communicate and work with managers and employees in line with your role.
- Provide support for HR projects.
Competencies
- Minimum level 3 CIPD qualification
- IT Literate, experience of maintaining a HRIS.
- Experience of dealing with highly confidential, sensitive information,
- Strong awareness of GDPR.
- Proven experience in an HR administrator role (at least 1+ years' experience)
- Good Communicator
- Team player
- Organised and methodical
- Calm under pressure.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
