Contract Scotland are recruiting for a market leading Tier 1 Contractor, who are seeking to appoint a
Bid
Writer to add to their continued success in the Scottish construction market.
Based in Glasgow, our client are well known for being one of the biggest names, delivering high value projects across the public and private sector; which may be hard to find at the moment.
As a Bid Writer, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- The preparation of bids/tender and pre-qualification questionnaires/submissions
- Gathering evidence to answer PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) questions
- Working alongside the senior management team to maintain client contacts and seek new opportunities
- Collation of pretender proposals
- Bid writing and Marketing
- Working closely with planning teams
- Finalisation of bids, support the estimating team and postproposal reviews
- Keeping accurate records and saving material to a 'bid library' for future use
- A previous track record within proposals and bid collation/coordination
- Strong IT skills, with experience using Microsoft packages
- Good interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
