Environmental Administrator

Salary:
£25,000 DOE


Location:
Longton, Stoke-On-Trent. Will be moving to Yarnfield, Stone within 12 months.


Responsibilities and Duties:


The main responsibilities of the role will be to liaise with customers, creating quotes and putting together survey reports, analysis and documentation following completion of the site surveys.


This role will encompass an in-depth knowledge of each company, so that you can support each area as required and understand the technicalities if any challenges arise and how to potentially resolve etc.


The role may include support on projects required to further the group's interests, such as assisting the Managing Director or Ecologist as required.

The type of tasks involved in your area of work will change depending upon the requirements of the business.

  • Completion of detailed reports, surveys and analysis following the completion of various site surveys, including arboricultural surveys, soil testing, ecological surveys and invasive weed surveys.
  • Putting together quotes and sending them out to customers.
  • Answering the phone in a polite and professional manner and answering customer queries.
  • Planning, scheduling and quality checking site visits, surveys and treatment visits.
  • Data searches, collection and input.
  • Booking accommodation and travel.
  • Actively working on administrative processes and tasks to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Completing adhoc projects for various aspects of the group.
  • Liaising with other employees, suppliers and clients.
  • General office administration, including scanning and shredding paperwork.

About you:


  • Minimum 3 x A Levels A
  • C.
  • Previous experience or qualification within a relevant field e.g. ecology, arboriculture would be advantageous.
  • Detail oriented, working to a high standard and showing care and thought in all that you do.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with other members of the team, clients and suppliers.
  • Efficient and well organised.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Well presented.
  • Confident and friendly manner.
  • Selfmotivated and driven.
  • Time management skills.
  • A team player happy to work with other members of the team to achieve goals.

Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
