Description

Responsibilities:

  • General building skills on all aspects of renovation works.
  • Building out HMOS, standard property renovations.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
  • Assemble and install wooden structures and fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, doors, and windows
  • Install flooring materials such as tiles, hardwood, or laminate
  • Construct and repair furniture, including tables, chairs, and cabinets
  • Install siding materials such as vinyl or wood
  • Perform heavy lifting when necessary
  • Assist with construction painting, stucco, plastering, electrical work, fixture installation, masonry, and other related tasks as needed
  • Must have own tools and transport.

Skills:


  • Proficiency in joinery techniques and woodworking tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and precision in measurements and cutting
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction or installation process
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements

Salary:
£15.00-£17.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Liverpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery: 4 years (required)
  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
