Broad Coverage including North London / Bucks / Herts / N Essex

Clean & Green Service Providers

Starting Salary Circa £27,000 dependent on experience Van, Laptop, Phone


This is both a working & managing role and applicants will need to be physically able to carry out the duties of any team member they supervise.

The position will involve but is not limited to:


  • Liaising regularly with your Line Manager. Set dates in planner and record, log meeting briefs with your line manager.
  • Managing staff and resources, reporting absences and approving holidays ensure this is noted in your planner
  • Interviewing and recruiting potential applicants critical aspect of this role
  • Carrying out 4 & 8 weekly reviews & probationary appraisals with team operatives / set up training days as required. Ensure this is set in planner and outcome sent to HR
  • Training & inducting all new staff on their routes i.e. work with them at each site and ensure they understand the routes/sites/duties; complete monthly TBTS with staff
  • Complete weekly timesheets and ensure that trackers are checked; keep teamsheets up to date
  • Completing new staff paperwork accurately and correctly
  • Supervising and covering the day to day attendance of staff members and report any absences or changes of staffing to the HR & Customer Account teams and Contracts Manager
  • Carry out staff investigation meetings to assist Contracts Managers with disciplinary procedures maintain confidentiality of all issues relating to staff at all times (do not discuss with other Operatives)
  • Working closely with our HR team on personnel issues including, recruitment, development and disciplinary etc.
  • Managing team operatives to ensure their duties are carried out professionally and inline with company procedures; hold RoCs (record of conversations) with staff as required
  • Helping with stock orders, equipment orders, van checks, issuing of timesheets and tickets, recording any issues raised by staff members and carrying out 121s with your team on team days
  • Fully confident in using Timegate; train team operatives in the use of Timegate; help resolve issues that occur within the team and ensure that all operatives are using Timegate
  • Occasional early evening or weekend meetings with residents
  • Carrying out safety audits on sites, machinery, equipment etc.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met; reporting accidents/incidents in a correct & timely fashion
  • Carrying out cleaning audits and ensuring resident satisfaction report any issues arising from these to the Contracts Manager to achieve a minimum of 80 QAs per month
  • Ensuring KPI's are met and exceeded ensure that KPIs are included in planner
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with quotations for oneoff works and new schemes; providing the measures and times
  • Attending monthly planning meetings with Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Admin staff when requested
  • Attending meeting with residents onsite and gathering feedback from residents ensure that this is included in your planner
  • Dealing with compliments, complaints and performance improvement
  • Attending training & development days as required with your Line Manager, to be recorded and sent to HR
  • Any other work as deemed necessary by the company and/or your Line Manager
