We have an exciting opportunity for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant at a wonderful Rotherham school based in the S61.

Our school is seeking an experienced Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Teaching Assistant who can hit the ground running, supporting in Year 2.

This is a warm and welcoming diverse primary school with engaged children and a supportive staff team.


This is a full-time long-term role to start ASAP with the possibility of being made permanent after a successful short working probation.

The role will involve working Monday - Friday (term time only


We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant and are looking for a new challenge.


About the role

  • Supporting the students in their learning and supporting in the delivery of the KS1 curriculum.
  • To work in partnership with the team to ensure the very best standard of education is delivered to the children.
  • To work with students within small intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis.
  • To liaise with external agencies and parent /carers when required.
  • To be a part of the wider school community when required.
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning
  • Be Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualified (or equivalent).
  • Have previous and recent experience supporting in Key Stage
  • Be confident in working with small groups and delivering interventions.
