Description

Our client is one of the largest contract flooring companies in the South East, dealing with some of the UK's biggest house builders.

They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to run and manage their finance function.

Reporting to the Directors dutieswill include:

  • Day to day management of the finance function sales ledger, purchase ledger, VAT, CIS
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • VAT reconciliations and returns
  • Liaise with HMRC directly on all aspects of the business, VAT/CIS/PAYE
  • Production of monthly balance sheet, ensuring any outstanding actions are followed up
  • Working with the finance team to ensure debtors ledger and creditors ledger are kept up to date
  • Support with weekly cash flow reporting
  • Reviewing and improving the accounting processes, controls and reporting
  • Development of the finance team
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Liaise with external Accountants


As part of the management team, this is a challenging role that offers variety and the ability to support the business and Directors with providing key management information.
