SENIOR MODEL VALIDATION ANALYST

£70,000

WEST MIDLANDS

THE COMPANY

THE ROLE
This role sits within the broader finance and risk team, and would see you focus on:

Technical validation across a range of models to ensure these comply with performance and governance standards
Responsibility across the full suite of models across the business including treasury, credit and finance
Wider support as part of the 2nd line team
Communication with and presentation to key stakeholders within the business and senior risk committees
Scope to move into broader model governance and development work in the future

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in model validation, either in credit risk, treasury or wider financial services
Experience in using SAS and Excel
Ideal to have knowledge of advanced credit risk models such as IRB (PD, LGD, EAD)
Strong communication skills and ability to present technical matters in a concise manner
Educated to a degree level or higher in a numerate degree
