Engineering business based in Ferrybridge, specialising in the fabrication and installation of structural steel, sheet metal work, pipework and general fabrications in the chemical, recycling, water and food industries.

Responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to);
Working from engineering drawings and sketches.

Quality inspecting of your own work and others.

Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

Work in a clean and tidy manner

Work varies between Workshop and site work.

See the job through from start to finish

2+ years' experience of welding - Carbon / Stainless steel.

Previously coded in MIG welding and also experienced in TIG would be an advantage.

A good work ethic and good attention to detail.

The ability to work to tight deadlines and work overtime as required.

Comfortable and competent working alone as well as part of a team.

All interviewees will be expected to undertake a weld sample at the interview stage.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£15.75 per hour
plus overtime (overtime rates)

Driving licence is essential.

7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday work may be required along with the occasional late and night site work.
