What you'll be doing

  • Providing a full Finance Business Partnering service to the business, matching Finance capabilities to the different requirements of senior leaders.
  • Supporting the business commercially through involvement in local business cases, change initiatives, proactive analysis and insight, procurement tenders and initiatives.
  • Driving innovation in the presentation of financial information, looking to leverage changes in technology and fully utilising resources such as Tableau.
  • Budgeting and forecasting, supporting business leaders in the development of the threeyear Group Business Plan.
  • Participating in Finance business transformation projects and contributing towards the Finance 2025 business transformation programme.
  • Feeding into the monthly management reporting cycle by providing Management Reporting with judgementbased monthly accounting adjustments.
  • Providing insight into periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) internal financial reporting.
  • A welldeveloped understanding of the importance of working in a financial control environment.
  • Experience in a medium
- to large-sized business, ideally in a Finance Business Partner or commercial-focused accounting role.

  • The ability to innovate and to use changing technology to drive financial analysis and insight.
  • The ability to act as an advisor to the business, being able to get their expertise across through working collaboratively with business leaders.
  • Prior involvement in Finance transformation / change projects is advantageous.

Education and Qualifications

  • A partqualified accountant or finalist who has had a good grounding in accounting
