Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the MFL department, including overseeing curriculum development and delivery for French, Spanish, and German.
Inspire and support a team of MFL teachers to deliver highquality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of the MFL department, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the love of languages and cultural awareness.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement schoolwide policies and initiatives.
Organise and lead extracurricular activities and events that enhance the MFL curriculum.
Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements:

Substantial experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level.
Proven leadership and management experience within an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and timemanagement abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
A passion for languages and the ability to inspire students and staff alike.

Desirable:

Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
Proficiency in multiple languages taught at the school (French, Spanish, German).
Experience in integrating technology into language teaching.

Job Types:

Pay:
£35,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
