As Head of Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and relevant management information to all levels of management and regularly reviewing this information to make it aligned to the dynamic nature ofthe business.

This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results and value-add analysis. The role holder will also help support and develop strategic business cases that ultimately goes to Board for approval.


In addition, the FP&A team is the owner of the annual budgeting cycle and in supporting the development / refinement of the 3-year strategic plan.

This one will play a critical role in refreshing and challenging input assumptions from the business and supportingthe production of the output for Board approval.


Additionally you will:


  • Work closely with the Front office to understand their Business and provide timely and insightful information to support their growth ambitions
  • Working across functions to develop strategic business cases for onward submission to Board
  • Attend and constructively input into the Bank wide transformation agenda
  • Support ongoing and development of FP&A key outputs used for the CEO, CFO, ExCo and Board requirements
  • Provide support in the compilation of the annual budget and strategy refresh
  • Provide support in developing briefing materials for Investors, Rating agencies and Board.
  • Providing adhoc commercial and analytical support to business stakeholders.

Profile

  • Is a qualified accountant with experience in a Management Reporting role ideally from a financial services business
  • Highly numerate, professional, thorough and proactive
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Good strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and retail banking product intuition
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment and able to work crossfunctionally to launch new products & features
  • Ability to analyse quantitative data and use it to inform decision making
  • Proactive, seeking to drive processes forward and adding value
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
