• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labour, and equipment requirements
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, subcontractors, and other project expenses
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project budgets
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Identify potential costsaving opportunities and value engineering options
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular updates to management

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools
• Knowledge of windows, materials, methods, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
