Sharp Consultancy are proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Sheffield.


The role of Accounts Semi Senior would sit within their high performing business services department and will report into a client manager responsible for a specialist portfolio of clients.


The role will primarily focus on supporting the team produce accounts for sole traders, charities, pensions, solicitors, SMEs and groups.


Key responsibilities:


  • Preparation of yearend accounts for a variety of clients
  • Drafting of tax computations
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Client bookkeeping and reviewing work submitted
  • Other ad hoc work as required

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience within accountancy practice
  • AAT qualified and/or ACCA partqualified
  • Experience working with Sage and Xero
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
