St Margaret of Scotland Hospice - Scotland's oldest and largest Hospice currently has a vacancy for a Facilities Professional to be based at the Hospice in Clydebank to lead the upkeep and development of our facilities and to take lead responsibility for health and safety across the site.

This role has both strategic and operational components and will include taking overall responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and facilities.

This will include developing a plan of work to continue to improve and enhance our facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Healthcare Improvement Scotland standards and other relevant standards and best practice.

A good knowledge of building services is essential.

Budget and Project setting and monitoring
Estates, Housekeeping, Vehicles / Fleet management
Safety and security
Fire prevention and detection
Risk Assessment and reduction
Utility reporting and Environmental Management
Provide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance
To provide informed advice and support to Hospice Senior Management for all maintenance and engineering requirements.
